Notre Dame Cheering at Alamo?

Notre Dame Cheerleaders gave Texas residents much to cheer about during their recent visit to San Antonio.

 The Fighting Irish football team of Notre Dame played against the Washington State Cougars at the Alamodome on Halloween. The game was televised by NBC, but the south Texas sports fans enjoyed the live interaction both teams brought to the Alamo City.

"We saw the cheerleaders, band and fans at the Alamo, Riverwalk, the Zoo and even at San Fernando Cathedral," said San Antonio resident Mary Chavez. "My daughter dressed up as a Notre Dame cheerleader to see them downtown and we marched with them to the Alamodome."
