TROY, N.Y. - Who is running for president? In an upstate New York county, hundreds of voters have been sent absentee ballots in which they could vote for "Barack Osama."

A general election absentee ballot from Rensselaer County, N.Y. misspelling the name of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama is seen, Friday, Oct. 10, 2008 in Sand Lake, N.Y. The absentee ballots sent to voters in Rensselaer County identified the two presidential candidates as 'Barack Osama' and 'John McCain.' In the United States, the best-known individual named Osama is Osama bin Laden, leader of the al Qaida terrorist group behind the 2001 attacks that destroyed the World Trade Center in New York City. stvalentine, I like this story. It's good stuff.

Let the games begin!  I'm going to start saving these articles documenting election irregularities.  They may be of interest to someone some day who wants to know how Americans lost, or forfeited, democracy.  When things such as this happen without loud citizen protest -- not just Obama supporters, but everyone who values the democratic process -- it only facilitates the country's fast gallop into facism.  Every time citizens ignore such things, it reminds me of that poem, "They came for me, and there was no one left to help."  See:   http://www.care2.com/c2c/share/detail/909678

Oh, oh.  Bad news.  Now that I commented on your article, your hits may start to crawl, due to the censorship that follows me.
