Pakistani kept in chains by family for 52 years

A shocking incident of human barbarity has surfaced in Arifwala area of Pakistan’s Punjab province.

According to a report aired by Geo News television channel, a family in Arifwala has kept in chained one of its members for the past 52 years. The family of Syed Sarfaraz Hussain Shah, now 62, has contended that Shah had gone mad and they had chained him to save his life.

The report said some neighbours reported the matter to police after they came to know about the shocking incident.
