the east bay bikepath lies on an old railroad grade, so for most of its length from providence to bristol, there are these telltale fallaways to either side; mostly dropping into open fields or marshy areas or, sometimes, simply to the eponymous bay. however, in barrington, there are these steep treelined hills rising just beyond the fall, creating these boggy ditches to either side of the path that collect a colloidal soup of leaves, sticks, moss, various fungi, and, for flavour, the occasional tennis ball.

on review, i like the fact that it is this little fuzzy manmade green bubble amidst all these slimy naturally occuring green bubbles...
