Philip Hodousek Finds Condom in Soup at Claim Jumper Restaurant

Philip Hodousek filed a law suit on Tuesday after finding a condom in his french onion soup at Claim Jumper restaurant during Easter Brunch. After discovering the condom in the soup, the restaurant's general manager approached the party and apologized for the incidence and reportedly identified the piece of rubber as a glove. Houdousek refutes this and has retained the evidence. The purpose of the law suit, as stated by Houdousek's attorney, is to apply pressure to identifying the delinquent employee. The condom has been tested by an private lab and female DNA has been found on the condom.

s he ate the soup, he felt what he believed was a tough piece of cheese on the side of his mouth. When he couldn't chew it into pieces, he told his family that it felt like rubber, according to the court filing.

Hodousek says he spit it out into his napkin, at which time his wife said, "Oh my God, it's a condom."

After speaking with the server, the restaurant's general manager, Marc Hadley, came over to the table and explained that the item was a rubber glove used by employees to prepare food and apologized, the documents say.

After further inspection, it was clear the item was not a rubber glove, but clearly a condom, Hodousek says.

Claim Jumper Enterprise has challenged the credibility of the claim, due to Mr. Hodousek's removal of the evidence from Claim Jumpers premises.

We have found no evidence to support any of the allegations in a complaint filed by Mr. Zednek Philip Hodousek against Claim Jumper on July 21, 2009.

Anytime! There are so many unanswered questions though. Was the condom used? was it really a female who put it in the soup? Was it an accident or was it a disgruntled employee? If the condom was used was it used in the vicinity of the soup possibly when as it was cooling? What brand was the condom? If the condom were a tree what tree would it be?.....we will keep you posted with updates as the story unfolds.
