Planned Parenthood Abortionplex: The Onion is a Satire Site

Planned Parenthood Abortionplex Is Not Real. It's Satire.

If you're pro-life and you heard about Planned Parenthood's Abortionplex, settle down. It's not real. Remember, The Onion is a satire site. That means that what they post is not real.

If you take the bait and think that the Planned Parenthood Abortionplex plan is actually real, then you'll end up joining these folks in getting ridiculed across the web. You don't want that.

What's odd is that some people are reacting as if the Abortionplex story is real, even though they're reading it on pro-life sites that explicitly say that the Onion story is meant as satire. This is where the term "RTFA" comes in.

Remember, The Onion is, as stated, a satire site. It is not trolling, nor does it create hoaxes. The Onion has no intention of passing off its stories as fact. Overly-credulous readers are not The Onion's problem. If you go off on a rant based on an Onion article (an it happens more often than you'd expect), you will end up on lamebook or Failbooking.

Just goes to show you how ignorant people are in this country. They don't even bother to find out if something is true or not before becoming outraged about it.
