Police Officers Injured When Cruiser Hit Alleged DUI Driver
It has been a little crazy in California lately with DUI arrests. It has gotten to the point where a few cops rolled a DUI driver into a vehicle rollover into a private driveway. Anyways, thought you would enjoy from one of my blogs.

According to reports by criminal defense attorneys in Los Angeles, a police cruiser was struck in the back end of the vehicle by an alleged DUI driver, two police officers were injured in the accident.
It has been reported by Anaheim Police Sgt. Rick Martinez that the male and female officer that were in the police cruiser were traveling on Orangethorpe Avenue at approximately 2:00 a.m. this is when they were struck from behind by a vehicle identified as a pickup truck. The two officers identities have not been released, they are officers on the Anaheim Police force.
The collision forced the police vehicle into a driveway and the pickup truck rolled on its side. The driver of the vehicle had to be extracted from the vehicle by Anaheim firefighters.
According to Sgt. Martinez the driver has been identified as Luis Bustanante age 24 of Anaheim and when he was extracted it is alleged that he appeared intoxicated. Bustanante was transported to the Western Medical Center for treatment. He was held on suspicion of felony drunk driving, driving without a driver’s license and booked into the Anaheim City Jail.
The male and female Anaheim police officers were transported to the UCI Medical Center In Orange with neck and back pain. According to Sgt. Martinez the male officer is a department veteran and the female officer who was driving at the time of the collision has recently graduated from the police academy.
