Polish politician criticises zoo for raising a gay elephant

A Polish politican is criticizing his local zoo for raising a gay elephant called Ninio, who seems to prefer only the company of other male elephants and will most likely not breed.

"We didn't pay 37 million zlotys (7.6 million pounds) for the largest elephant house in Europe to have a gay elephant live there," Michal Grzes, a conservative councillor in the city of Poznan in western Poland, was quoted as saying.

Ninio may be too young to decide still however as elephants do not reach sexual maturity until age 14, and he is only 10.

Certainly I do sometimes believe anything is possible in this crazy world, we all try to take serious from time to time. However Amy Is this for real ? A gay Elephant,are you sure they didnt mean grey Elephant.
