this is a handmade diamond car special order for prince walid bin talal...it costs 4.8 million$$

he is one of the richest people in the world.

Prince Walid is a mover and shaker, owns a part of Fox News, largest shareholder in CitiGroup inc., the world's largest bank, owner of The Savoy in Paris, large shareholder in AOL.

UPDATE: It has been brought to my attention that this car couldn't possibly be totally covered in diamonds and only cost $4.8 million. So I did a search and found a blog post about an Austrian company that makes vehicles covered in a mix of diamonds and Swarovski crystals. Although Karl Seelos as head of the team (said) that the customers remain anonymous and (he was) unwilling to reveal the real prices, obviously the Prince had to brag about his 'diamond car'.

I'm add ing photo of one of Seelos motorcycles. an interesting concept.

Prince
Walid gives to charity $100 million a year.

$10 million check to the victims of the World Trade Center disaster

Looks like he gives away more than he spends on himself... that car is only worth 4.8 mill... and he gives over 100mill away every year.

Imagine if the cynics had even half the cash he had.. im sure they would be just as lavish with their personal spending.

Maybe the cynics would be even more lavish.. in which case after they had spent all their cash they would be in the same position they are now.. struggling and poor (but still cynical).

Paulkirat, your link does not work. Many would be interested in your story. Though perhaps some will not want your story told.

I would like to see it. Namaste.

René, I like this story. It's good stuff. If I see that car I am going to run into it on purpose and just pick up the scraps of diamonds on the ground. But wow, definitely not necessary to do that with a car.

thanks for the flags, this is more than just overkill, this is pure Royal Arabian arrogance. Rub it in everyone's face just how much excess money he has.

René, I like this story. It's good stuff. Hey it is his money to do what he wants with it.  Of course I wonder how many diamonds would be left on the car if he passed through East Hastings?

The trick is, which are diamonds and which are crystals? The car is heavily guarded, appears at certain car shows, and it costs $1,000 just to touch it. at least that's what I've found out online about it.

I guess it is covered in crystals and worth about 1 million.

This is as luxurious as it can get! Prince Walid's diamond car is just awesome! I remember seeing a picture of a Mercedes SLR covered in white gold or something. It's also from the Middle East as I can remember.

Salam Alaikom wa Ramatullah

, this is basira from Afghanistan

Prince Walid bin Talal i would request  if you could spend some money on the poor poeple of Afghanistan

poeple are near to death from starvation and poverty, Im sure that money  you spend on giving them will really change thier lives, which would be a less amount for you.

Or if you could open a company to help them,

Ma salam wa rahmatullah,
