They've been spotted crawling up and down the streets as far afield as London and Edinburgh, taking photos of houses, gardens and streetscapes.

Internet search giant Google has sent out a fleet of branded cars equipped with 360-degree cameras to take images of every street in Britain and upload them to an online map service.

These will be loaded onto its new service 'Street View', which will allow internet users from anywhere in the world to look at street-level shots of Britain's roads.

This is what it took for the Brits to start caring about privacy? That is kind of funny!

The British government has more surveillance cameras spying on the populace than just about anywhere else in the world. It has been proven that it does little to stop crime there and yet they keep adding more. And the sheeple in Britain just keep letting it happen because they buy the lies of their politicians. Same thing is happening in the states but at a slower pace. It is truly sad...

This mustn't be happening! Oh, who will take me out of this world? I mean what joy do they gain by spying? Can we not all be respectful of other people's privacy? Come on, there are more better deal to save the world from being totally destroyed! Save our privacy and we will keep yours too! That must be fair enough. Looks like other people's privacy reflects somebody else's insecurity.
