NP Rank:
Robert Keller Passes Driving Test, Then Crashes into DMV (Video)
Robert Keller Had Just Passed His Driving Test When He Crashed Through the Front of the DMV
Robert Keller, 34, had just pulled up in front of the DMV after taking his driving test at the Collier license exam center, and it seemed like everything had gone pretty well.
That was until he thought he had put the car in park, and it jumped when he took his foot off the brake. He then panicked and accidentally accelerated, crashing through the front of the DMV where about a dozen people were seated.
According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, no one was seriously injured, although four suffered minor injuries and two were taken to hospital for examination. Collier police Chief Thomas Devin said that Mr. Keller will not be cited, but he will not be receiving his driver's license either.
"He was very apologetic," the chief said. "He was more concerned about them than himself."
Mr. Keller and the tester William Kielur were also not injured.
