Scary Birthday Clown as a Birthday Gift for Kids

Dominic Deville's job is to stalk children in a scary clown costume for one whole week. He sends chilling text messages, makes prank phone calls, and ultimately attacks his target in the face with a cake.

This is a new form of birthday present parents are getting for their children. "Most kids absolutely love being scared senseless," said Deville. He warns children that they are being watched, and that they will be attacked. The scary birthday clown's aim is to smash a cake in the chidren's face when they least expect it.

The scariest part is not knowing when they'll be attacked. "The child feels more and more that it is being pursued," said Dominic Deville, who set up his service in Lucerne, Switzerland.

If the kids manage to avoid being hit by the cake in that week, they would be given the cake for birthday. Of course, parents can stop the scary clown any time. Deville promises that he will never break into a residence or find you at work. "It's all in fun and if at any point the kids get scared or their parents are concerned, we stop right there."

Dominic Deville started his evil clown service after being inspired by his favorite horror movies. Stephen Vaughan of Clowns International said what Deville does is a great idea. "Bringing a little bit of life and laughter into kids’ lives is what we are all about," said Vaughan. In this case, it might include tears as well.
