This is really sad: Scooter, the world's smallest dog, has died at age six months. Scooter, a maltese, could have qualified for the world record had he lived to be one, but it just didn't happen. Scooter stopped growing before he was two months old, and never weighed more than 400g (not even one pound).
Scooter broke his leg (his little, little leg), and the veterinarians took a personal interest in his progress, taking him home so they could monitor his progress 24/7.
Scooter was buried in the shoebox he called home, as no dog-sized coffins were small enough.
He broke his leg jumping out of the hands of a minder earlier this week. His tiny leg was put in a cast but the medication he was given for it caused stomach ulcers and he did not survive.

How sad for a little innocent dog to die at 6 months old. But Dancer the world's 2nd smallest dog died also at the age of two. How sad for innocent dog's lives to just explode and be gone. = - (
