Scorpion Sucker

It's a scorpion inside a lollipop. I bought it along with some amazing fudge at the Sedona Fudge Company. The cashier told me that the scorpion has been cooked and the stinger has been removed, so it's safe to eat (honestly, it never occurred to me that this wasn't the case since it was being sold in a fudge shop. I'll know better to verify this next time).

I picked this one because it was yellow and assumed it was lemon flavored. But the sticker on the back tells me it's banana flavored. That might actually be more of a deterrent in eating the lollipop than the scorpion.

It looks like the company that made this sucker, HOTLIX®, has an assortment of insect candy. Interesting. Larvets? I don't know.
