Semen Confirmed in Sunflower Market Yogurt Sample
Albuquerque Police: Semen Found in Yogurt Sample from Sunflower Market
It turns out that the woman who reported tasting semen in a yogurt sample handed out at Sunflower Market in Albuquerque was right.
Anthony Garcia had been arrested after the incident, but on child molestation charges unrelated to the Sunflower Market incident. He admitted to handing out the yogurt sample, but denied adding semen to it. He submitted a DNA sample to be tested against the semen sample.
Sunflower Market has yet to comment, but the store manager had told police that no free samples were scheduled for handout that day. The woman who tasted the sample described two employees pointing at her before offering her the sample, which would seem to suggest that she was singled out.
"I completely think it is disgusting," one customer said.
"Foul, beyond words," said another customer said walking out of the supermarket on Corrales Road and Alameda in Northwest Albuquerque Friday night.
