Supermarket Employee Arrested after Customer Complains of Semen in Yogurt Sample
Police in Albuquerque, New Mexico are investigating a claim by a customer that a yogurt sample she was given contained semen. She immediately spit the sample onto the floor after tasting it, where it was later scooped up by the cops and sent to a lab to be identified.
Anthony Garcia, an employee of Sunflower Market was arrested in connection with the "bodily fluid" incident, though police specify that he was picked up on pre-existing warrants. The woman's claim has not been verified.
“We found where she basically spit out the possible evidence,” Sgt. Trish Hoffman said. “As far back as I can remember this is the first time that we've ever dealt with this.”
Hoffman said police scooped up the possible evidence and sent to the crime lab.
