Swimming 23 Miles in 11 degree temperatures across the deep dark depths of Loch Ness, 6 members of London's Serpentine swimming club completed their mission just after 5pm on Thursday 5th of August 2010.

After some thorough planning, the hardy team (Who said Londoners were not tough!) left Urquhart Castle just after 5am on Thursday, arriving as fresh as when they left.

The purpose, to raise money for Afghan Mother and Children Rescue, a small hands on charity focusing on the welfare of women and children in remote areas of Afghanistan, a country ravaged by war, the charity was setup to provide vital services for its most vulnerable inhabitants.
