Uhoh, seems like this education was a little too personal.

A Singaporean professor who nicked
bras and panties has pleaded guilty to stealing women's
underwear from a university dormitory, a local newspaper
reported on Saturday.

The 39-year old man -- an associate professor in a Chinese
university -- was charged for taking women's underwear from a
university hostel's clothes-line last December, the Straits
Times reported.

The Singaporean professor, who teaches in China, was in the
city-state for his leave when he committed the crime. He was
caught by a dormitory security guard who found female
undergarments in his haversack.

Odd this ended up in Strange when it is really a Culture or Crime story.

If that's what you think you have a very strange definition of culture, and there is no crime category. On second thought, maybe this is an everyday occurrence for you so you don't think it's strange.

He was doing what he thought was a cultural norm. Culture is other's ways of doing things. There are many reports of this activitiy performed by subcultures, hence the view it would be best in culture.

Has crime gone? They have been stuffing around with the categories lately, they appear in some menues but not others.
