Sky cloud Banding

Late in the day on the 19th January [2009] I couldn't help but notice the unusual banding in the sky, which my 5D captured. Not being the usual Chemtrails how have they come about?. Given the power of  HAARP for ENERGY PLACEMENT has this any bearing on the matter - one can only guess.
