This was the reaction most students had when told about a new book which hints that the Father of the Nation was in love with a German-Jewish architect and bodybuilder, Hermann Kallenbach.

The allegation comes in "Great Soul: Mahatma Gandhi and His Struggle With India," written by Pulitzer Prize-winning former executive editor of New York Times, Joseph Lelyveld.
