Star Trek Klingon Sword Used in Colorado Robberies
A man weilding a Star Trek Klingon sword has gone on a rampage of lame robbery attempts. Late Tuesday night the Treky attempted two robberies of local 7-11 stores in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Both of the robberies were within half an hour of each other and police are looking for any witnesses because he is still at large. The man is in his 20's, wears a black mask and blue jeans, carries a replica Klingon sword and is most likely holding a refillable Big Gulp Mug.

The first I heard of this story was the author (I think) asking me if he could use my render of a bat'leth (The sword of khales specifically). I hope the picture is suitably illustrative.

TFleming asked to use one of my (alertfive) photos on Flickr. The photo in question was not me sitting on the mock Enterprise bridge, but rather of me playing a hack-and-slash video game on board Mariner of the Seas. Not only am I NOT wielding a Klingon sword, but it could also be construed that I am the one robbing the 7-11s, which is NOT the case.
TFleming needs to think about these things before asking to use photos (look at the top news story on this site about an embassy shooting and the accompanying photo.) In any case, I have sent TFleming an email explictly DENYING the use of my photo.
