Ed Dames a former  CIA ,Military Officer and remote viewer predicted the precise location were millionaire adventurer Steve Fossett would be located.  The detailed information Ed dames provided was brought forth by a process caled "Remote Viewing"  en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remote_viewing Ed Dames accurately "targeted" the area of Nevada were Fossett would be found.  After extensive search efforts by traditional means proved fruitless, Dames' information was finally utilized to locate the crash wreckage and remains of Fossett.  "Remote Viewing" is not a new technique infact it began in the 1990'2 with a project known as "Stargate" .  The original intention was to investigate with the use of esp could key stratigic military targets be attained by one's higher senses.  The project was a eventually phased out by the CIA in 1995.  However the remote viewing still goes in in the general public with instructional courses that teach remote viewing.  Ed dames offers such courses.  It can be said that remote viewing may be a public tool for assisting in search efforts that the police and other institutions should seriously consider.  Especially when high profiled cases such as Fossett's are solved with this particular technique.

Well, Dames claimed gps-like accuracy for remote viewing, but due to various circumstances he settled into a square mile zone that was about 50 miles off.   The orginal search area in Nevada was closer to the mark than Dames.  Was Dames right? Not by the standards that he claimed at the time.

Well, you wouldn't want to use him as your guide, which is what he clained to offer.  A lot of us thought that Fossett might have crashed in the Sierras, but if this is gps accuracy, no wonder I sometimes can't find things using my handheld unit.

Here is a link to a map showing where Ed Dames said Steve Fossett would be found (point A) and where Steve Fossett was actually found (point B).  Notice they are not that close, but at least Ed had the right state, California:

Ed Dames is now predicting a big earthquake just east of Carson City, Nevada in 5 or 6 months from now.  Here is a link to the map showing the exact location of his earthquake prediction:
