Store Owner Gives Repentant Thief $40 and a Loaf of Bread
A Long Island convenience store owner showed mercy on a would-be robber by giving him $40 and a loaf of bread after the robber claimed he needed food for his family. Store owner Mohammad Sohail showed mercy on the repentant robber, but not before shoving a shotgun in his face.
The whole incident began when a masked robber entered Sohali's store wielding a baseball bat. Sohali quickly turned the tables on the robber by pulling out a shotgun from behind the counter. The robber dropped to his knees and begged for mercy, telling the store owner that he only did it to support his starving family.
Soahali decided to show some mercy and gave the man $40 and a loaf of bread. The robber then said that he was grateful he would convert to Islam in honor of the store owner, who originally hails from Pakistan.

A sad story with a happy ending. But isnt it bad that an American can be starving in this day and age?
