What on earth can caused a-38-year old man to eat metal objects, though he was reported to be mentally ill but it is really very strange how these 17 metal objects got into this man's tomach, was he eating them directly as if he was participating in a dog eating competition?

Doctors in a coastal town in northwestern Peru have rescued the innards of a 38-year-old man by removing 17 metal objects — among them nails, a watch clasp and a knife — that he ate.
