Suspicious powder sent to Palin, Seven other Governors

Authorities are investigating a suspicious powder sent to Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.

Similar suspicious mailings were addressed to seven other governors this week. It wasn't immediately clear if the letter addressed to the former Republican vice presidential candidate had a Dallas postmark, as the other letters did.

An FBI spokesman in Alaska says the powder is being tested.

Letters containing white powder have also been sent to governors in Alabama, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana and Rhode Island on Monday.

Tests showed the powder in the other seven cases weren't dangerous.
