Tanya Tucker invites her ten year old to sing for Texas crowd

Country music star Tanya Tucker surprised audience members during her Gruene Hall performance in New Braunfels, Texas this weekend.

Her ten year old daughter Layla was invited to come on stage and "Say hi to Texas."

At first shy, she said "Hi Texas" to a receptive crowd.



"Would you like to sing something," Tucker asked?

Young Layla belted out a song that impressed even her famous mother and the band. The applause was at least as loud as any other that night and reminded everyone of Tanya's big hit "Delta Dawn" released when she was not much older than Layla.
