Thief flees naked after falling into manure tank

A German police station is holding some very smelly items of women's clothing which were left behind after a botched attempt at stealing manure from a farm in Eberholzen.

Two women snuck into the farm and had been filling stockings with manure when one of them fell into the manure tank and was fished out by the other. Clothes later found in a field indicated that one of the women fled completely naked while the other had stripped down to her underwear.

It is believed the women were collecting the manure to make "manure bombs".
