Third grader expelled from school due to 'hit list'

A third grade student in Hamilton, Ohio, has been expelled from school due to a 'hit list' of students and teachers that he wanted to kill that was found in his desk.
A report was filed with the Hamilton police department that said the boy at the private school wanted to harm the individuals he named. The student is now receiving counseling.
“We never believed for a second that people were truly in danger,” Mayo told the Journal News. “But this sort of thing in this day and age, you just can’t do that. It will never be acceptable.”
No charges have been filed agains the boy however.
