Last night or late Monday evening the Toronto offices of the Canadian Youth Orchstra were robbed for the second time in two weeks.  The thieves this time managed to break into the office through the kitchen walking away with computers and Ipods.  The estimated damages in theft were approxiamately $5000.00.  This comes at a blow with donations already at a low point.   The Canadian Youth Orchastra provides free-at-charge facilities for many youths who are passionate of syphanies and orchastras.  In fact this organization is one of the premiere services of it's type in the world.  It is suspected that this crime may have a connection to drug related crimes, what ever the connection it will definately set back this foundation's quest of enriching youths aged 14-28 with an outlet of an amazing service in preforming arts.  The issue of crime is always a hot topic but when it effects children and services provided to children it becomes even more heated.  I hope the persons responsible for this disgusting act of criminal disgrace think about thier actions and return the stolen items.  The Arts sector already is an area that gets hit hard annually , this will certainly take time to recover from.  As a Torontonian I am outraged that bandits would do something like this to this program.
