UFO Sighting Over Weslaco, Texas by Area Resident Jose Gonzalez.

i recall as a young teen age girl... in the early 80's-Mercedes, Texas, when i saw a flying object in the skies. it was around 7 or 8 in the evening when my younger sister and i were playing outside our house, with our dog, when suddently something caught my eye up in the sky. being the curious person that i am, i kept my eye on it as it moved. sudently i realized it stoped moving, i kept on staring at it (at this time my sister kept playing with our dog).  as i walked, the object moved , then it slowly began coming down towards me .  at that moment i got scared and decided to get my mother's attention.  i was still looking up at that saucer, and as i reached for the front door to the house and yelled " MAMA, MAMA" .  the flying sauser , with much speed  retreated back to the skies, disapearing into the skies before my mother turned to look at me. i told her about the hole experience, but as expected, she said it was just my active imagination. i am almost 40 yrs of age and until this moment, i am sharing my experience (close encounter) with the public. don't know if this experience "was" only a teen ager's active imagination or if this was a real experience, but it is something i have lived with for all of these years, it is something i will never forget.
