Underwear Thief Found in Germany With 1,000 Pairs of Underpants

German police have caught an underwear thief who had more than 1,000 pairs of underpants and 100 pairs of swimming trunks in his apartment.  

Police searched the 46-year-old man's home after they caught him nicking three pairs of knickers from a local sports hall in Genhausen. They then entered the man's apartment and found mountains of underwear.

Police are looking into how the man acquired all this underwear. The suspect claims to have bought them from the internet and from yard sales.
