Homeland Security Unveils Mobile Mind Screening Checkpoints - Mindcrime

The US Homeland Security Department has unveiled a mobile mind screening system that can virtually read your mind.  This is part of the F.A.S.T. ( Future Attribute Screening technology) Program.  To streamline interrogation techniques and investigation procedures.  They claim the these techniques are non-invasive methods that determine malicious or malintent,  the main issue is the invasion of privacy and the mind control or potential mind control during or post screening.  The screening devices can be wirelessly connected anywhere at anytime.  It can be safely assumed that a large version of this technology can be and/or has been created to control or probe a mass amount of people at one time.  This is possibly something that has gone to far in screening methods of individuals in the "search" for criminals or terrorists.

There is one important question:will this device be able to read mind of politicians?

If it works and comes into use, how effective will it actually be?  Another article I read said the system uses things like heart rate, eye movement, and facial expressions to recognize potential threats.  Sure it could probably pick out an angry individual who intends on gunning down a bunch of bystanders, but what about the fanatical terrorist about to blow themselves up on a plane?  They think they're about to do the world a huge favor and then spend eternity in paradise.  (And they're insane).  Which leads me to think that they could easily be in a calm state of mind while going through these security checkpoints, rendering the machine useless.
