US Multiple Kill Vehicle: Could This MKV Shoot Down UFOs?

The recent so called meteorite that came crashing down to earth over western Canada still does not sit right. Is it possible that this Multiple Kill Vehicle shot down a UFO over Canada that fateful night. Or if it was a meteorite did this machine act accordingly to shoot it down in an effort to minimize the possible damage? This is a open questioned theory that I feel may lead to some answers regarding this mystery.
