Weezer Snuggie Infomercial: Rivers Cuomo Creates His Own 'Wuggie'

Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo has recently taken a break from Weezer's new album to focus something much more important: the Wuggie, a Weezer-approved version of the Snuggie. The Weezer Snuggie even has its own infomerical on Youtube.

Cumom's Wuggie is just like the Snuggie--that charming blanket with sleeves--with the word Weezer on it.

Cuomo says the band has the blessing of the makers of the Snuggie.

"A Wuggie is basically exactly like a Snuggie, except it says Weezer on it," frontman Rivers Cuomo told Rollingstone.com about the proposed sleeved blanket.

"The people at Snuggie are doing it with us and promoting it with us. It's a totally legit Snuggie."

Cuomo doesn't just design Snuggies, he wears them. Last week, Cuomo performed at a show in Irvine, CA was wearing a leopard-printed Snuggie. Of course, with summer just around the corner and the band heading out on the road, perhaps Weezer should go with a wearable towel instead.
