Welcome to New Hampshire!

Truth of the matter is, most of the people I know (even many of the natives) have never seen a moose. I saw one once, wandering the main street in suburban Hudson and through a factory parking lot. It was a young one, but let me tell you, those creatures are strangle looking. Their legs are so long and skinny and their bodies so big, you wonder how they support their own weight.

But let me tell you, you do NOT want to meet one driving down the road. You think a deer can do some damage? Well moose are much bigger and much heavers are far stupider.

Hence the signs.
