Wendy's hit by 60th anniversary email hoax

Fast food chain Wendy's has been hit by the latest web hoax. A fake email has been spreading across the Internet offering Wendy's burgers for 1950's prices. The Wendy's 60th anniversary email scam tells people that if they visit their local Wendy's they will get a great deal on a tasty burger or other classic Wendy's menu item. Don't go rushing to your nearest Wendy's location expecting them to honor your email, it isn't a valid Wendy's coupon. Where's the beef? Take it up with the email hoax police.

The Pitt County Sheriff’s Office is warning people about an email going around saying it’s the 60th Anniversary of Wendy’s Restaurant this Wednesday.

The email says all hamburgers will sell for a quarter, cheeseburgers for .30 cents, fries for .15 cents and drinks for a dime.

Deputies say the email is a scam, they’ve called several Wendy’s restaurants and they say they’ve never heard of the promotion.

i love Wendy's in there aren't in Spain now, when i was a child (20 years ago i remember Wendy's in Spain, but now i went to NY and take this photo of a Wendy's
