We’ve all seen the headlines. It seems that Washington has been rocked with one sex scandal after another. Foley. Craig. Spitzer. But debauchery is nothing new. High-profile scandals involving prostitutes, secret rendezvous and attractive mistresses have been a part of our culture since our culture began. What makes it different for these men is the enormity of what they are willing to risk when they conduct affairs.

Although only a licensed therapist working closely with these men can diagnose them as sex addicts, the fallout experienced by their wives and families is something shared by thousands of women (and men) who discover their partner is a sex addict. The one person they are supposed to trust completely has been living a life of lies and deceit. Where do they go from here?
