To be completely honest... I think this is the DUMBEST thing I've ever heard of, who cares if there's a 13th constellation now... the signs have been as they are FOREVER... Why change them??? So I guess anyone who knows anything about horoscopes has to relearn everything??? Think of all the books whose information would know be COMPLETELY WRONG... Think of all the time and energy all these people put into researching everything they could about the signs and the personalities of people in those signs... SO now you're telling me that the sign I was born under isn't good enough? We have to move everything around and change everything we know because some professor thought that it might be a good idea... Well I don't care what they come up with next... I was born an Aquarius it's a part of who I am... and I don't plan on changing for anyone.

This dumb ass changes has the same dates on two signs "very confusing" ??? If born feb. 16 you are Capricorn and Aquaris or April 18 you are Pieces and Aries.....I was born aquaris I am sticking to aquaris!

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~Relax folks!  The sign you were born under is still your sign .. however, the new sign is now effecting you.  It always did .. now, it is more evident.   That is all.   Most will move into the new sign, and already have been doing this, and not realizing it.   You will see, those that care that is.  There will always be nay sayers to astrology, always was, always will be.   Unfortunately, they seem to be more rude than most people.   All of a sudden your not a new sign .. it's just this seemingly new energy is now coming to the forefront.  It effects more than just the sun sign of a chart as well.   In natal charts, planetary positions may now be different.  Mercury may have been in Virgo, but is now in a different sign.  This turns astrology on it's ear.. so did the determination that Pluto was not a planet.  Life goes on .. astrology is a tool.  Only a tool.  It isn't a tool for everyone.  Give it time, play with it..  Up the road, they may decide it isn't a zodiac sign after-all.  Ha!   I actually expect the entire system to be reworked in the distant future.   Change is inevitable .. the heavens correspond.

I heard that it only is in affect from a certain year (maybe the last 5 years?). That means that my daughter who was born on the 13th of the same month as me changed (the 1st) but I remain the same. It is crazy and makes no sense. Someone needs to take their medication...

my 'old' zodiac is a libra, and i  agree with most of the libra traits ect, my 'new' zodiac is virgo and describes someone who is my complete opposite... i think i'll stick to the chinese zodiac, it has me spot on and wont change.

They can change the signs all they want, but that is not going to change the characteristics of the people that were born under the original ones. For instance no one or nothing is ever going to change a gemini. I myself am a Virgo.

I was born Scorpio and Mars is my planet and that will NEVER change.

Im glad they finally changed it they were off on the old one if u compare it o the star gazing map i have a star map and according to it im a Sagittarius and the old zodiac said i was a capicorn but now it is right yeah
