A Doctor in the UK is accused of removing a 58 year old patient's clitoris without her consent. The doctor apparantly removed the genetals during an opperation in 2002 after the woman's labia showed the presence of pre-cancerous cells.

The defense say the Doctor did inform the paitent by drawing a diagram describing the procedure. The doctor apparently told the court he thought she understood. The prosecution has leveled charges of causing bodily harm and genital mutilation against the accused in the case.

It makes one cringe thinking about what might happen while you are unconscious. Last year a Romainan Doctor lost his licence after he admited to slicing a mans penis off during a routine opperation.

Shocked nursing staff watched in horror as surgeon Naum Ciomu, grabbed a scalpal, sliced off the mans penis and then chopped it into tiny pieces before storming out of the opperating room. 

The man was awarded $320,000 damages.
