William Taylor: I Cheated This Is My Punishment

William Taylor from Centreville Virginia cheated on his wife, and when she found out, her way of punishment was quite unique: she made him stand on the street corner wearing a sign that said 'I Cheated, This Is My Punishment'.

Taylor had to stand at the corner of Leesburg Pike and International Drive, at a place called Tysons Corner wearing the sign so that everyone who drove by knew what he had done.
Taylor's wife found evidence of his cheating on his cell phone, and made him the sign herself for him to wear.
People reported seeing him as early as 9 a.m., and his presence was discussed on several of D.C.'s morning radio shows.
By 11am, Taylor's wife had said he could come in and William Taylor quickly removed the sign and went inside.
Punishment by wearing a humiliating sign in public is not uncommon for drunk drivers, sucn as a man in Wisconsin who wore an 'I'm stupid' sign rather than face a harsher penalty.
Shane McQuillan, 22, who admitted he was “just being stupid,” was sentenced to wear a sign reading “I was stupid.” The judge often offers such punishment by sign, and said “it’s an option for the person. It's not something that's forced on them.”

Considering some of the things other wives have done to punish their cheating husbands, William Taylor should consider himself lucky. . Remember the poor man in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 />Wisconsin who had his penis glued to his stomach earlier this month? Or the man in New York whose wife recently poured boiling water on his crotch? Or the case several years ago of Lorena Bobbit, who cut off her husband’s penis. Taylor may have been embarrassed, but at least he wasn’t harmed in any way, and I’m sure he’s learned his lesson by now. A scorned woman can be amazingly creative when coming up with ways to exact revenge on a cheating mate. Ruth Houston: I consider William to be a strong man! I am from Sweden, and I can honestly say that i don't think ANY swede would do this! They would rather loose their wife and children than humiliate themself in public. Which is kinda funny, because many Swedes humiliate themselves in public every weekend! But oh, i didn't think of that, it doesn't count if you're shit faced ;)William: Respect your wife. Never Cheat on her again. Mistakes happen, and I hope you've learned your lesson. Btw, William and "the wife", if You're ever planning to go to Sweden, mail me and I can arrange living quarters for you for free :)
