I just don't understand how people could be so cruel to their kids. This Elizabeth Escalona out of Dallas dragged her daughter, Joselyn Cedillo, by her feet across their apartment and glued her hands to a wall. As if that wasn't enough, she kicked her, beat her with a belt, and repeatedly hit this little girl in the stomach with what police called a "jug of milk". Do you really believe that the 100,000 or so children that are reported missing each year, that a quarter or so of them haven't actually been murdered by a parent. Parents beat the hell out of kids all the time. We only hear about a very, very small percentage of this type of abuse. Children have no voice in our society.
