Woman returns $97,000 she found RUTHERFORD COUNTYWhen Billie Watts found almost $100,000 in a bag at a Murfreesboro Cracker Barrel, her first thought was that she could afford to improve her smile.
"I have been having real bad teeth problems," said Watts, 75. "I thought 'I'll get my teeth fixed. ' "
But her better nature beat out the need for dentistry. She decided to return the money she found hanging in a bag in the women's restroom Thursday.
"Satan will tempt you," Watts said.

What in the world could be the explanation for $100,000 hanging in a bag in the woman's restroom?

Nice story. I wish we could know more about who left the money and if they claimed it and if they gave her a reward. She can keep the money if no one claims it.
Oh, I went to the link and the woman who lost the money said he had just sold her home and the money was from the sale.

This happened to me 6 months ago. I found an envelope with $2700. cash in a deserted alleyway, and located the owner of the vehicle it was by.
