My story started with a bot from the flowermarked in Amsterdam Holland. May 5.- 2010. The man at the marked told me : You can just leave it as it is, no soil, no water ??? So trange ! It started to grow at once, even in my bag goin' back to Norway, where I live.It was groing and groing, higher and higher.  About one mounth later the higth was 73 cm.One day when I came home from work, something unexpected waited for me. I opened the front door and this indescribable smell of rotten flesh, corps or whatever, filled my nose.Having two cat's, so the first that got into my mind was : What have they done ? What happen here, are they dead ?? Then I discover Woodoo Lily. Big surprice, it was in bloom, peeled like a banana. So trange and beautiful, but the smell was terrible. Out on the terrace with it and guess what happened next ? At once lots of flyes was swarming around it. They liked the smell. Entering the the flower with stars in their eyes. The smell lasted only one day, thank good ! 4 mounth's later one leaf, but it didn't opened. The bot was too tired I believe, staying there only getting moist from the air. 5 new bot's are also growing on the motherbot.I kept it outdoor for the rest of the summer, From october 2010 until februar 2011 I kept it in the basement. From now on I will keep it in a pot with soil. Will it grow one more time ? I looked at the internet, that some have it in their garden, but in Norway the winter is too cold. I am very exhited to see what happen next...will it grow ? If so, I will give you more photo's.

Thank's for reading my story....Sidsel Oba from Norway.
