Noddy the Shire horse is a strapping lad. He weighs in at 1.3 tonnesand could one day tip the scales at 1.5 tonnes. He takes an eight-footcover and his Australian owner is getting him used to a ladder to makegetting into the saddle a little easier.

robinm, I like this story. It's good stuff. (But check out the Highlight Tool.)

He's a gorgeous horse. I'd love to have him, just as a pet and occasional ride or carriage guy.

20.1 hands! Oh, my! When I was still less than 5' tall, my horse was just a nicker over 16 hands, and that was big for me! 20 hands!

I hope he winds up somewhere where he'll be absolutely loved and taught to do things. Really, I'd love to have him. If I were to take up riding again, I'd love to have a Trakehner. But a coldblood like Noddy is often easier to handle.

If I move to the country, can I have him, Mommy? Please!  :)
