WTF? Wisconsin Tourism Federation Changes Its Name

After becoming the butt of several internet jokes, Wisconsin Tourism Federation - WTF - has changed its name to Tourism Federation of Wisconsin.

The federation has had the same name since its inception in 1979, but recently became aware of a blog that made fun of their logo and name. Wisconsin Tourism Federation has kept their old logo, but switched around the words and added a "of".

Maybe World Taekwondo Federation is next.

Commenters wondered whether an expression of foul-mouthed astonishment was the best way of boosting tourism to a state that would not be an obvious choice for most holidaymakers.
