Zsolt and Geza Peladi, two Hungarian brothers who have been living in a cave in Budapest, are about to inherit around over $7 billion from their recently deceased grandmother. The brothers have been living on their own in a cave for some time now and have been selling junk from the street in order to sustain themselves.

Both Zsolt and Geza Peladi, as well as their sister in the US, will be inheriting their maternal grandmothers' fortune. The brothers' mother passed away recently in Germany so the inheritance goes directly to them.

The Peladi brothers had a strained relationship with their mother who eventually abandoned them. She also cut ties with her remaining family. Zsolt and Geza Peladi are the next of kin in line to inherit their long lost grandmother's fortune.

“If this all works out it will certainly make up for the life we have had until now — all we really had was each other — no women would look at us living in a cave,” said Geza.

“But with money, maybe we can find a partner and finally have a normal life. We don’t know yet if she even told our grandmother about us. I understand it was only while they were carrying out genealogical research that lawyers found we existed.”

Budapest's Maltese Charity volunteer Gyula Balazs Csaszar helped to find the Peladi brothers and inform them of their inheritance. The charity was contacted by lawyers who were dealing with the grandmother's estate.

Zsolt and Geza Peladi are currently seeking out family records, specifically their mother's death certificate in order to rightfully claim their inheritance. They are in the process of going to Germany to obtain their new fortune.
