Those spec designs remind me of Yaletown here in Vancouver. The apartment buildings proposed for Zahran Street all look the same- it's a little sad, in my opinion. (I've never been to Jordan)
Yes, its sad for me too that i have lived there and really appreciated this "lost in time" atmosphere. But for the natives, this is a great improvement. It depends whats your point of view. For me, something that is really original is going to be sacrificed in the name of tourism development. And the funny is that as a tourist, I hate it...
