2012 Volkswagen Beetle India Photos - New VW Beetle In India Pics!

Volkswagen has taken the wraps off the all new Beetle in New York, Shanghai and Berlin. As you would expect, Volkswagen has filtered its Scirocco design language down to the Beetle as well. But given the curves that the Beetle demands, the 2012 model looks more like a bulbous and obese Scirocco to us than a Beetle with a muscular body. 

Volkswagen has announced that the engine options will vary as per the country. Therefore, while the US and majority of Europe will get a variety of petrol and diesel mills, the Indian model will get the 2.0 TDI engine which puts of 140 PS of power and is mated to a 6-speed transmission.
