Alexander McQueen and Puma are no strangers: the two design entities have collaborated in the past on Puma footwear, but they're now taking their relationship to the next level with an extended line of mens and womens clothing.  The price point will range between $75 and $790.

Alexander McQueen Puma, which will cater to both men and women, is to be unveiled for the first time on Tuesday, January 20 in Milan as part of the menswear show season via a short film entitled Ghost - a collaborative effort by Saam Faramond and McQueen himself.

The logo which represents the collaborative duo is a fusion of the iconic black puma cat with the features of a man - "a physical metamorphosis that symbolized the collaboration."

The so-called ManCat logo was created by fashion photographer Nick Knight, and I can only imagine that creative process....

"Puma logo? Check.

Um...McQueen is a man...so man logo? Check.

Fuse the two together and create a new brand of spirit animal? Check.

Unleash the creepiest image of all time upon the world? Check!"

And thus, a star is born.
