America's Next Top Model (ANTM) Cycle 12 Episode 7 'Acting Like A Model'

Episode 7 begins:
The girls hang out at the house having dinner and Natalie doesn't clean her dishes. Teyona takes offence to that and calls her a bitch; Natalie's response is 'I can't help where I'm from' but Aminat thinks she's still a bitch.
Tyra Mail 'Tomorrow you will be molded into a fine piece of clay'
The next day the girls arrive to Harlem Stage Theatre and Paulina is there saying how important acting is to a model and it's good to train to be a stage actress.
Celia and Aminat go first and they have to say 'I have never had that to anyone'. Aminat is too aggressive.
Teyona and Natalie 'I have no idea what you're talking about'.
London and Fo 'You've got to be kidding me'. Fo is not aggressive at all.
Allison and Thalia 'You need to get out of here'. Tahlia is really stiff and cannot be estatic and Paulina gets mad at her saying she can't be 'pretty any more' and that's it.
The girls are then given a script about a 'has-been' model and the girls have to learn it and then perform it. London comes from a family of actors so she feels confident.
Commercial
Clay Aiken comes out! Screaming ensues! Fo calls him a genius (um, really?)
The girls have to do their scene with Clay Aiken.
London goes first and she does a good job. Allison does a good job as well and so does Fo. Thalia is too stiff and according to Clay 'lazy'. Celia does well and she hams it up a lot.
The winner is London! She's super excited! She gets $5000 in Joe's jeans, but London doesn't try anything on because she is struggling with her weight and Aminat says 'yeah she did gain weight'.
Tyra Mail! 'Do you play well with others?'
They arrive the next morning and see McKey! Winner of Cycle 11 to introduce the girls to CoverGirl's new foundation. The girls are going to shoot a commercial and they have to work in two groups.
Teyona, Aminat, Celia and Allison
Fo, London, Natalie, and Tahlia.
Each girl only gets a few takes each to get it right.
Celia goes first and she does well. Teyona does not look at the camera at all. Aminat keeps forgetting her lines and messes it up. Allison also doesn't look at the camera and she's too flat for Jay.
The other group talk to McKey about how she became more confident in the competition. Thalia expresses that she is having trouble with confidence.
Commercial
Natalie goes first from the next group. She was 'average' says Jay, but it wasn't bad. Fo is next and she is ok. London goes next and she was too salesman for the commercial. Tahlia is very jagged in her speaking and she does struggle with it a lot.
The girls go back to the house.
Tyra Mail! Tomorrow they will meet with the judges.
The girls analyze their commercials and Celia feels that she did the best.
Commercial.
Judging time!
Celia's commercial is good and the judges like its comedic value.
Teyona's commercial is ok but she keeps her eyes closed too much.
Allison is criticized for wearing the same dress to panel and they make her change clothes with Teyona. Her commercial is a bit boring and Tyra calls it 'punishment'.
Aminat's commercial looked like Teyona's commercial and Aminat slurred too many words.
London is next and her commercial is 'slouchy and sloppy' says Nigel and Tyra calls it 'hard', Paulina then criticizes her shorts.
Natalie is next and her commercial looked like London's commercial and Tyra says it's forgettable. She needs to be more flirty.
Fo's commercial is too mangled and Tahlia looked really good in her commercial.
Tahlia is next and her commercial is not good. Fo was better than Tahlia and although she looked good but her performance was not enough.
Commercial
The judges deliberate, but the eventually get to a decision. Teyona and Allison have switched outfits now. Tyra says this group was so weak in the commercials.
The models left are:
1. Celia
2. Natalie
3. Teyona
4. Fo
5. London
6. Aminat
Tahlia and Allison are left. But Tyra only has one photo in her hand. Allison is a 'high fashion model' but she is not versatile at all. Tahlia has a strong look, but the judges are not sure if she loves the camera as much as it loves her.
Allison stays!
Tahlia has to go home but she doesn't cry, and she is proud of what she has done. She leaves very positive, which is nice.
Next week the girls are creative directors for each other and Ciara is the special guest!

Even Tahlia knew that she was not going to make it to the end. Whatever it is, Tahlia you have stronger passions in your life. So follow them. But you have tried modelling, and it was well worth the try. Otherwise, you would have never known what it is like to be a model, be criticized all the time and asked to do things all the time, then criticized for the way you do them!!
We are getting finally to the top models. Who do you think the last 4 will be?
1.Celia, for sure. Celia, you did really well by apologizing to Tahlia in front of the camera. You have reasonable acting skills ;)
2. Teyona or Aminat. Aminat has the stronger personality but Teyona has a sweet, easy to work with personality. So if Teyona takes the directions well. She could be one of the last 4 contestants
3. Nathalie. Without a doubt. But her "stuck up" attiude will probably bite her in the "whoo-hoo"
4. London or Allison. London has faded from the camera. she is not impressing the judges. Allison has the look. Though her lack of self-awareness is very disappointing. I mean that she is not aware of the potential that Tara sees in her. And Tara has the eye for top model ( or at least "her show's top model" ), but if Allison doesn't see it too, then she's wasting everybody's time.
